Annie Jr. is a specially adapted 1 hour family friendly version of one of the world’s best-loved, award-winning musicals.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
Annie is a heart-warming show with an important message about the true nature of family. In the show, we see how a street-smart little girl transforms her entire life by making the most out of every moment.
This production of Annie Jr is performed by Rooftop Studios Leek Junior and Senior Stage Academy and will also feature a 15 minute pre-show from their Little Stage Academy students.
